Cameron Champ returned to the place where he learned to love golf in order to share that love with youth from all over the Sacramento area.

Cameron hosted the clinic on Sept. 9 at Foothill Golf Course, where he learned the game from his grandfather Mack. The Champ family now runs the course, which also serves as home base for the Cameron Champ Foundation, which is committed to diversifying the game and unlocking the potential in youth from underserved and underrepresented communities.

Time is running out to register for the summer season at the Cameron Champ Golf Academy at Foothill Golf Course. Registration closes Monday, June 19!

Our season started this week, but you can still sign up and get your money’s worth. Students who miss sessions due to late registration or summer vacations will be able to schedule make-up practices.

Paul Kerner, our Director of Coaching and Community Engagement, will once again be running our junior programs after a successful spring season. The summer sessions will continue to incorporate the Operation 36 platform and PGA Junior League while adding Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) training. This is a very effective program designed to give kids a chance to play competitive golf, regardless of skill level.
