Glow Golf: New Dates, Earlier Times, Youth on Course Discount!

Due to continued demand, we have extended our glow golf events through Oct. 14. That means you have four more Saturday nights this season to play Foothill under the stars: Sept. 23 and 30 and Oct. 7 and 14.

Youth on Course members accompanied by an adult can play for half price, just $15! These events have been selling out, so don’t delay. Call (916) 725-3399 to reserve your spot.

Please note the earlier check-in and shotgun times.

Check-in: 6:45-7:15pm
Shotgun Start: 7:30
$30 per player, soda and hot dog included

Cameron Champ Hosts Junior Golf Clinic at Foothill

Cameron Champ returned to the place where he learned to love golf in order to share that love with youth from all over the Sacramento area.

Cameron hosted the clinic on Sept. 9 at Foothill Golf Course, where he learned the game from his grandfather Mack. The Champ family now runs the course, which also serves as home base for the Cameron Champ Foundation, which is committed to diversifying the game and unlocking the potential in youth from underserved and underrepresented communities.

The Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America sent volunteers from all over Northern California and Nevada to Foothill for a “field day” on October 24. It was a great day for the Cameron Champ Foundation and the course, and Good Day Sacramento came out for some on-location reporting.
